The goats will be running with their handlers and jumping over things and negotiating things like poles they have to go in and out of.
This is a fun thing for the goat handlers to do as part of training and goats and keeping them interested.
To add a bit of fun to this we are suggesting that once a year (or more if it is popular) they do a filmed race.
The rules are simple.
- No pulling the goat, they have to run naturally
- No shouting at the goats
- No using any sticks
The goats love to be with people and they are trained by their handlers. They will be well rewarded for their efforts.
Goat Racers are:
Athos: White Goat
Porthos: White with a squiggle on his rump
Aramis: Wild coloured
Pythagoras: White and Cream
Keith: Mostly white with a bit of grey
These six wethers are our racing goats. They are also up for adoption.
